VISUAL ARTS FINAL:
Student choice~ each student will choose ONE or MORE of the below projects as your final art class final.

You will follow the process of design to complete this portfolio project:

- STEP 1: RESEARCH
- STEP 2: SKETCH / IDEATE ROUGH DRAFT
- STEP 3: EVALUATE / REVIEW WITH TEACHER
- STEP 4 FINAL PRODUCT

BELOW ARE THE OPTIONS FOR THE PROJECT – THESE ARE PROJECT IDEAS FROM YOU OR YOUR CLASSMATES. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR OWN IDEA FOR TEACHER APPROVAL.
**If you want to change your mind and portfolio project mid way through (you can), but you must still do STEPS 1 – 4 again.

- Multiple pieces 3-5 showing off your style in different mediums
- Character creation
- Remake favorite project from the school year
- Something you are into / Self reflection
- Book on METS
- Self-portrait/landscape project
- Combination of what you have done so far
- How you feel – about something or someone
- Drawing of your choice
- Collage
- Painting
- Face drawing
- DIY trends – re-creating clothing / DIY anything at home
- Magazine collages
- Surrealism projects
- Photo of things that are important to us in our house to create a collage / artwork
- Human poses and positions
- Practice landscape with traditional pencil and paper
- Color Bleeding

TIMELINE:
MAY 11 / 12: Students select the project
MAY 13/14/15: Students research examples / inspirations / ideas
MAY 18/19: Students make a rough draft of the project or collect materials for the project
May 20/21/22: Students review draft with teacher and receive feedback + begin finals
May 26/27/28/29 FINALS: Students work on their final portfolio project

Happy Sunday and Happy Mother's Day! Since I am away from my family (they are in Cincinnati) we do video calls every Sunday and I host trivia, this Sunday I made a Trivia dedicated to my Mom. The first part are questions for her children about her and the second part is questions for my Mom about her kids. I thought I should share ~ ENJOY! XOXO
